Origin Story:
It was on a last-minute adventure to Southeast Asia that Miss Adley met Benjamin Bulldog. She was late and running alongside a river trying to reach the river cruise tour boat before it left the dock when she suddenly slipped on some sort of puddle and crashed to the ground. Lying flat on her back and looking up at the clear blue and cloudless sky, she was confused about the puddle and how it got there. As she was catching her breath, she began to feel drips on her face. Something thick and gross was hitting her skin and running down her neck. When she glanced over to find the source of the liquid, she encountered a very large, dripping tongue attached to the adorable, happy face of a dog. Upon sitting up she realized the dog was panting heavily and wiggling its bottom and nub tail in excitement. A smile split her face when she began to take in the creature. She reached out to begin petting him when all of a sudden, a loud horn pierced the air! The dog immediately ran to hide in the nearby bushes. Miss Adley’s face fell, not only because her new friend ran off, but also because she knew the horn blast meant she had missed her tour boat.
Still sitting on the ground, Miss Adley dropped her head into her hands as she tried to think about her next move. After only a few moments, something crawled into her lap. Startled, she looked up and found her new friend’s big, round, and expectant eyes. After proper introductions, Benjamin Bulldog helped Miss Adley figure out what she was going to do next. Instead of touring the river by boat, Benjamin showed Miss Adley where she could experience the river as it was intended, from in it! Benjamin Bulldog guided her through parts of a rainforest and onto a secret, secluded area where the river turned into a water-filled playground.
They spent the rest of the day together laughing, playing in the water, and becoming quick friends. Benjamin Bulldog even introduced her to some of the other animals who then joined in on their fun! Miss Adley shared stories of far-off places and Benjamin Bulldog was intrigued by her adventurous spirit. Miss Adley was equally fascinated by Benjamin’s carefree yet positive attitude, and of course, by his big, drooling tongue! As the day came to a close, Miss Adley and Benjamin Bulldog lay on the bank of the river, tired but happy. Before she knew it, it was time to say goodbye. With tears in her eyes, but a smile on her face, Miss Adley waved goodbye with promises to visit again and headed off on her next journey….
As is her custom, Miss Adley took many pictures throughout the day so that when she returned home, she would always have something to help her remember her adventures. Her favorite picture from this day was one of Benjamin Bulldog leaping into the water with his tongue hanging out. She would never forget her slobbery friend and couldn’t wait until their next adventure. She framed Benjamin Bulldog’s picture, personalized it just for her, and turned it into a fun piece of wall art. It hangs in a place of honor in her home. Funnily, if you look up and down her hallways, it feels like you are in an art gallery filled with only animal art, almost like a zoo of pictures.

Origin Story:
Bella Bunny’s earliest memory is of the picturesque Swaledale meadow in North Yorkshire, England. She lived there with her family or what humans call a warren of other rabbits. Winter was Bella Bunny’s favorite time of year even though it meant that her favorite snack of sweet grass was scarce. She loved playing in the snow and would often spend hours frolicking in the winter wonderland until she was so cold it was hard to hop. It was then that she would return underground and cuddle with her family until the warmth returned.
One day, while out exploring, Bella Bunny came upon rows and rows of grapes. She had never seen such a sight! Excited beyond measure at the endless number of treats, Bella Bunny quickly hopped into the first row of grape-filled vines without stopping to check her surroundings as she had always been taught. She quickly realized her mistake when a wooden crate dropped on top of her. Shivering and scared, Bella Bunny panicked and tried to flatten her body to the ground as much as she could. Her fear increased when the sounds of shouting started coming from outside the crate. Time slowed, but eventually, the shouting stopped, and Bella could only hear the sound of a friendly voice. Light suddenly poured into the crate and Bella Bunny found herself face-to-face with a curious-looking woman.
Miss Adley swiftly introduced herself and explained that Bella Bunny was now safe. In gratitude and to make up for the fact that Miss Adley was kicked off the vineyard because of her, Bella Bunny offered to give her a tour of her meadow. The two quickly became friends. Bella Bunny learned that Miss Adley was an adventurous woman who loved exploring new places and learning about new cultures. Bella Bunny was fascinated by her stories and couldn’t help but be drawn to Miss Adley’s kind and adventurous spirit. It made Bella Bunny want to travel the world too.
Miss Adley was equally as charmed by Bella Bunny and was in awe of all she knew about the meadow. She agreed to help Bella Bunny set off on her own world tour. After imparting all the knowledge she possibly could, they both set off on their own separate journeys. They keep in touch, writing postcards and sending pictures of all their favorite things they’ve done. Miss Adley has filled an entire box with the pictures and postcards Bella Bunny sent, but it is one of Bella Bunny with a bunch of grapes that holds a special place in her heart. On her gallery wall of animal art, Miss Adley hung her personalized framed bunny print to always remember how helping others is a beautiful way to start a friendship.

Origin Story:
Morgan Moose lives in a stunning, green forest deep in the Mountains of Newfoundland, Canada. Morgan was different from the other moose in the area. He was not only very mischievous, but he also had a keen interest in art and would often sneak, as much as a moose could sneak, into the nearby towns to admire the beautiful paintings and sculptures.
One day, Morgan stumbled upon an art museum and was in awe of the masterpieces displayed inside. Being as mischievous as he was, he couldn’t resist the temptation to take one of the pieces of wall art for himself. Trying to appear casual, Morgan Moose sauntered through the animal art gallery and slyly knocked his antlers into a colorful dog art print. The frame of the art piece got tangled in his antler and Morgan Moose just kept walking. As he tried to stealthily exit the museum, he bumped into a smiling woman carrying a small piece of luggage.
Miss Adley was headed to Greenland for a polar adventure when she got waylaid in Newfoundland. As one who never misses an opportunity to explore, Miss Adley was wandering through a small village when she noticed a moose in an art museum! Curiosity got the better of her, and she went to investigate. As she was entering the museum, the moose happened to be leaving. Miss Adley noticed he had a painting stuck in his antlers and decided to be of assistance. After the accidental collision, Miss Adley became aware of the moose’s nervous expression and made it her mission to get him to return the animal painting. It only took a few soft words and a request for a tour guide to get Morgan Moose to put the framed wall art back in its original position.
Morgan Moose took his job as tour guide seriously. He showed Miss Adley every single piece of art in the museum, from animals to landscapes, and they both took time to admire all of them. Miss Adley was fascinated by Morgan Moose’s knowledge and passion, so she encouraged him to create some art of his own. Her encouragement sparked instant excitement and Morgan Moose galloped off to the forest to get started, but not before thanking his new friend and wishing her a safe journey.
Several months later, Miss Adley received a large package in the mail. Inside was an article about a famous “moose artist”. It was clear that Morgan Moose had found his true passion. With an abundance of pride, Miss Adley looked at what else was contained in the package and was overjoyed to find Morgan Moose’s self-portrait. It immediately earned a spot on her gallery wall of the animal art she collects on her adventures. She sent a glowing thank you note that initiated a fervent exchange of correspondence. Morgan Moose would detail whatever art piece he was currently working on, and Miss Adley would give detailed accounts of her latest adventures. A beautiful friendship was formed, and they would visit each other whenever they could.

Origin Story:
Deep down in the great depths of the North Sea lives Olivia Octopus. Although extremely friendly, she was tremendously lonely, spending most of her time alone, gliding through the water and looking for food. It was only occasionally that she would meet up with other octopuses, and even then, the interactions were brief. Olivia Octopus longed for true companionship.
A big storm passed through one week that kept Olivia Octopus hidden away in her rock den for longer than usual. When she was finally able to fully emerge safely, she darted around in search of food. Her usual hunting grounds looked different. The storm had uncovered new things, including a shipwreck. As she examined the debris sitting on the ocean floor, she came across a fancy-looking key. Liking all things fancy, Olivia Octopus scooped up the key and decided to keep it.
A few days later she went in search of the oldest octopus she knew. Norman did not live far from her rock den, but she always had trouble spotting him. As she searched and searched, she clutched the fancy key in one of her tentacles. Some light must have glinted off the gold key because Norman suddenly appeared out of nowhere and immediately asked about her treasure. Olivia explained that she was actually hoping he could tell her about the key. Loving being the smartest octopus in the ocean, Norman taught her everything he knew about the human device called a key. He even hinted that a fancy key like what she had probably come from a glamorous city like Paris. That night, Olivia Octopus made a plan; she was going to head to land and find what the key opened!
Early the next morning, Olivia Octopus excitedly set off on her journey. After swimming for days, she found herself in the English Channel and at the mouth of the Seine River. She was so exhausted but still had hope. She just needed to make it up the river and into the City of Lights. As she was trying to muster the energy to keep moving, Olivia Octopus noticed a woman staring at her. At first, she was terrified, but then the woman spoke and told her how unique and extraordinary she was. Flattered, Olivia Octopus introduced herself. Miss Adley returned the introduction and the two sat in comfortable silence for a while; Olivia Octopus swaying with the small waves and Miss Adley dipping her feet in the water. Miss Adley broke the silence and told her that she had just finished exploring the coast of France and needed to find her way to Paris to catch a flight to her next destination. Before Miss Adley could finish her goodbye speech, Olivia Octopus asked if she could hitch a ride to the city. Miss Adley hesitated but only because she was considering the logistics of such a journey. An idea struck her, and Miss Adley ran to find a bucket. Soon, Olivia Octopus was comfortably resting in a large bucket of seawater while Miss Adley’s boat motored toward the city. The two chatted during the journey and by the time they reached Paris, Miss Adley had decided to help Olivia Octopus with her quest.
They wandered the city for hours, Miss Adley struggling under the weight of the bucket. Nothing they tried the key in worked. When night fell, they were about to give up, but Olivia Octopus wanted to make one last stop. She had seen a fascinating tower looming in the sky all throughout the day. Maybe the key would work there? As they approached the Eiffel Tower, a small keyhole became visible at the base. When Olivia Octopus inserted her key and turned it, the most amazing thing happened. Thousands of twinkling lights surrounded the tower. It was breathtaking. The City of Lights had been turned on!
After all the excitement, it was time for Olivia Octopus and Miss Adley to part ways. They had made wonderful memories together that would keep their friendship strong. Before heading to the airport, Miss Adley snapped a photograph of Olivia Octopus holding her key in front of the sparkling Eiffel Tower. It would certainly make a unique addition to her collection of animal wall art. She planned to buy a frame, personalize the art print with Olivia Octopus’ name, and add it to the other creature art she loved.
